This gentleman was unhappy about his neck bands and laxity, however did not want to be looking “over-tightened or unnatural” after the surgery. He was also unhappy with the droopy and bulbous appearance of the nasal tip.
The preoperative examination revealed significant degree of neck laxity with some jowls and prominent nasolabial folds. Nasal tip was very bulbous and ptotic (droopy) due to thick nasal skin and large nasal tip cartilages.
Postoperative views after facelift and rhinoplasty (nose job) show significantly improved neck and jaw-line contour, resolution of the platismal (neck) bands and improvement in nasolabial folds. Nasal tip is more defined, less bulbous, with improved tip-lip angle on the profile. Overall appearance is very natural without any evidence of surgical disfigurement or scarring.
