New Jersey Spider Vein Removal

Laser technology allows us to treat spider veins without surgery or an extended hospital stay and long recovery. The laser aims carefully controlled pulses of narrow-wavelength light at the spider veins. The spiders absorb the light and heat up, then collapse and close. They are then gradually re-absorbed by the body. Normal activities can be resumed immediately.

Multiple treatments depending on the number and size of the spiders and personal characteristics of the patient may be required. Most patients need a series of six to eight treatments to achieve good and long-lasting results. The treatments cause minimal discomfort and are performed in the office setting in the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

We recommend avoiding extensive sun exposure and tanning one week before and after laser treatment and to use sunblock (at least spf 30) thereafter.
